New skin cells form deep in the skin and rise to the surface over roughly four weeks, more slowly as we age. We map where you are in that cycle and time each visit to it, so results build instead of starting over.

Consistency is what moves congested skin. We stay with you visit to visit, and if what we see needs medical care, we'll refer you to a dermatologist.

Whichever of us is behind the bar, your visit follows the same rhythm, so it always feels intentional.

Tell us about your skin
After you book, fill out a short intake: your routine, products, goals, and what has and hasn't worked. Add a few photos in natural, indirect light with a bare face.

Meet us on video
An unhurried hour, one on one. Keep your products nearby and we'll go through them together.

Approve your plan
Within a few days, we send your written care plan and the products chosen for your skin. Approve it, your $50 consult fee comes off the product total, and we'll get your products to you.

Check in
A follow-up at 4 weeks to see how your skin is responding and adjust the plan.

We're licensed estheticians, not medical providers. If what we see needs a dermatologist, we'll tell you plainly and point you to one.

Questions

Do I have to buy products?

No. You'll see your full product plan first and only pay for what you approve. If you do buy, your $50 consult fee goes toward those products. Your plan works with what you already own wherever it can.

Who can book a virtual consult?

Virtual consults are open to clients in California. If you live somewhere else, email us before booking and we'll let you know.

What do I need for the call?

A phone or laptop with a camera, a spot with good natural light, a bare face, and the products you use now.

What happens to my photos?

We use them only for your consult and your plan, keep them private in your client file, and delete them whenever you ask.

Can I come into the studio later?

Yes, and your plan comes with you. Many clients start online and book a Skin Assessment Facial when they're ready.

Our Story

The room we always wanted to work in.

We met working at a fast-paced facial bar. We loved the work, but the pace left little room for what we cared about most: time to really look at someone's skin, to explain what we were doing and why, and to see that person again as their skin changed.

So we built Salt 77. Results-driven facials with real science behind them. Treatments slow enough to feel like an escape. And a relationship with every client that lasts longer than an hour.

The story of salt

Salt is one of humanity's oldest remedies. People bathed in mineral seas to restore their skin, drew salt lines at thresholds for protection, and prized salt so highly that the word salary is often traced back to it.

We use that history as a compass, not a claim. In the room, every step is chosen for evidence. Mineral-rich salts, like Dead Sea salt, have been studied for supporting hydration and barrier function, and that's as far as we'll take it.

You'll get a short form after booking. It helps us read your skin before you sit down.

Tell us what you use
Let us know about retinoids, prescription skincare, recent peels or injectables, so we can choose the right steps.

Come as you are
Makeup is fine. We'll take care of the cleanse.

Arrive a little early
Give yourself 10 minutes to settle in with a warm mineral tonic.

Policies

Cancellations: We hold your time just for you, so please give us at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Changes made with less than 24 hours' notice are charged 50% of the service price, and missed appointments are charged in full. Life happens: we'll waive the fee once for a genuine emergency or illness.
Card on file: We're by appointment only. A card on file holds your booking, and it's only charged under the cancellation policy above. You pay for your service at your visit.
Late arrivals: We'll wait 10 minutes. After that, your treatment may be shortened so the next client starts on time, and the full price still applies. If you're more than 15 minutes late, we may need to reschedule, and the late-change fee applies.
Clear Skin Program: The 12-week program is paid upfront. Treatments are booked every 2 weeks, and the cancellation policy applies to each one.
Virtual consults: Your $50 is paid when you book. Reschedule with at least 24 hours' notice and it moves with you. Missed virtual consults aren't refunded or credited toward products.
Photos: We only take progress photos with your written consent, and we never share them without it.
Referrals: We're estheticians, not medical providers. If your skin needs a dermatologist, we'll tell you and point you to one.
